Step By Step Montessori Schools of Plymouth, Chaska, Wayzata and Maple Grove are looking for Assistant Teachers, Aides and Substitutes to work in Infant, Toddler and Preschool Classrooms. Full-time and Part-time opportunities available. Applicants must be reliable, fun-loving, good communicators. Assistant Teacher applicants must be qualified under Rule 3, a combination of college credits AND background in a child care setting. Need not be Montessori certified. Duties include helping to meet the needs of children and help maintain a neat and orderly classroom. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, sit on the floor or low chairs and be able to lift a min of 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Must be able to supervise children at all times, within sight and sound.
