Tooling Technician - (Youngstown, OH)

Position overview Position mandates the expertise to setup, install, maintain, rebuild, modify tooling for multiple CNC machines, review incoming jobs to determine if all required tooling is in-house and order non stock items. Job necessitates the expertise to work with various software programs (Microsoft excel, Zoller, Esprit) read Blueprints, operate Zoller tool presenter, navigate on-line and hardcopy tooling catalogs, work with various measuring equipment (caliper, micrometers, height gages, etc.) Essential Position duties and Responsibilities * Setting up tooling for CNC Mill/turn machines * Preset tooling using Zoller presenter * Load tooling info on RFID chips * Maintain tool lists * Review blueprints of incoming jobs and determine tooling needed * Collaborate together with CNC programmers and machine operators to ensure correct tooling is in place * Performs the duties of this position effectively in a fast-paced business environment with on-going project deadlines.
