Systems Administrator - (Westchester, IL)

Designs, implements and supports Windows on VMWare and Hyper-V, including hardware and software inventory, monitoring, backup, Virtual Desktop Interface solution and centralized management functions. Responsible for implementing standard use guidelines for Windows and VMWare. Assists other business areas in their use of Systems. Administers the deployment of security and hot-fix patches to the enterprise. Recommend and implement technical solutions to support business qualifications. Position Functions: * Responsible for implementing, tuning and maintaining VMware-based solutions * Implements VMware vSphere for server consolidation and virtualization * Background and use of vSan, NSX, VMWare Horizon, and App Volumes preferred * Reviews existing technology implementations and suggests and implements improvements and upgrades.
