R&D CHEMIST: Conduct research, development & testing of Jowat water based PUR & reactive hot-melt PUR adhesives for the woodworking, paper packaging, automotive and textile industries; conferring with Jowat chemists, engineers and R&D staff on testing & project development; instructs & monitors technical staff & research processes, testing samples to ensure quality control, regulatory compliance & industry standards; reporting & documenting test results. Uses adhesive specific test methods, DMA, DSC Molecular weight calculations, urethane & polymer chemistry knowledge. REQUIRED: master degree or equivalent in chemistry + four months exp. in industrial adhesive research chemist position. Exp. must include: metric system, water based PUR & hot-melt PUR adhesives technology.
