Ultrasound Tech - Full Time - (Indiana, PA)

Ultrasound Technologist Witham Health Services is looking for a Full-time Ultrasound Technologist for the Medical Imaging Department. The Ultrasound Technologist performs procedures as requested by a physician. All procedures will be performed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates knowledge of normal vs. abnormal anatomy, recognizing disease processes pertinent to exams being performed. They are cognizant of any abnormality deemed critical. This position may also perform other administrative and clinical duties as needed for the needs of the department and/or organization. On call required in this position. Must have a High-school diploma or equivalent and have a current CPR certification. A successful applicant will be a registered radiographer with training in ultrasound, or a registered ultrasound technologist (ARDMS). Must be ARDMS registered within 6 mnths (24 weeks) of date of hire. Prior experience wanted.
