Business Line Government Job title Computer Operator IV United States of America - Virginia Virginia Beach Position description Operates and maintains the JDS/PCDS/ICADS equipment. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Performs PM and CM tasks on assigned equipment. Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance as required. Verifies system operability after maintenance actions. Documents all maintenance actions in IEMS. Isolates malfunctions to the discrete component level if required, and assists in incorporating approved engineering changes. Maintains JDS components in accordance with PM schedule, WIs, and manufacturersâ?? technical manuals. Performs JDS system and network administration tasks. Manages JDS workstations by installing and configuring approved software, administering user accounts, and managing disk capacities to useful levels. Performs software backups and mission recordings.
