Lead Teacher-ORR with Security Clearance - (Homestead, FL)

Contingent upon Award Title: Lead Teacher Travel: Up to 100% Location: Homestead, Florida Remote option: No Schedule: Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends In anticipation of a contract award, MVM, Inc. is looking for highly-motivated Lead Teachers (LT) to be part of a highly capable team to run a shelter and all surrounding operations for the temporary care and transport of unaccompanied children (UC). The Lead Teacher assists the Director of Education Services with carrying out the lesson plans and fills in as an Educational Instructor when needed. Key functions and Responsibilities: * Provide oversight of a team of Educational Instructors. * Ensure quality control and uniformity of curriculum development and assessments. * Ensure adherence to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) policies and procedures. - Distribute feedback and promote friendly collaboration among the department staff. - Background in child development.
