DIrect Support Professional - Day Programs - (Bakersfield, CA)

PathPoint is currently seeking a part time Direct Support Professional to join our day programs team in Bakersfield, CA . Our day programs provide skills training and support for individuals with mild to severe physical and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional , you will be responsible for developing and teaching individualized curriculum in pre-vocational, social, and life skills to people with developmental disabilities. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 9am-3:30pm. Paid training, 1st Aid, and CPR certification is provided. What you'll do: Teach participants social/lifeskills to help them lead more independent lives, including communication expertise, mobility, money management, housing, and public transportation. Teach participants vocational skills to help prepare them for entry-level employment.
