Paralegal/Housing Counselor Duties: Coordinating client foreclosure intake; triaging clients for appointment scheduling; creating client files and inputting data into case management system; determining clients objectives, goals and needs; developing an action plan to achieve set goals; providing foreclosure prevention counseling; referring cases to HOPP attorneys in-house for court-related assistance; preparing/submitting loss mitigation packets and following up with client, financial institutions, loan servicers, escalators and other providers as necessary; accompanying HOPP attorneys to court settlement conferences as needed; and counseling clients regarding transition options.
