\n\nJob Description\nSUMMARY: This position is responsible for supervising hourly production Teammates while ensuring goals related to production schedules, food safety/quality, and workplace safety are met; as well as any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management. As a member of management, the Production Supervisor will be required to achieve department and plant objectives; and must be able to supervise, train, coach, counsel, and direct other Teammates in accordance withTyson Foods' Core Values. This position works with beef and pork products, as well as other ingredients that may be a potential allergen.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High-school certificate or equivalent required. Postsecondary education (associate's or bachelor's degree) in agriculture, operations management, or general business is preferred.Background: At least 1 (1) year background in the meat industry is required
