Responsibilities: Responsible for developing sources, preparing requests for proposals, negotiating, administering and controlling purchases of raw materials and commodity type items. Responsible for supporting the successful resolution of Quality Notifications (QN s). Responsible for the structuring of the purchase order and obtaining the proper authorities, approvals required, including Government consent as applicable. Administers all matters related to the purchase order through its life and including the proper closeout. Achieves material cost savings through direct negotiations, enhanced competition, resourcing, e-auctions and alternate material substitutions.
