Building Systems Transport is Hiring for the Fleet Operations Manager Position! Essential Duties of the Fleet Operations Manager: - Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. - Must possess effective communication and leadership skills with the expertise to foster open, honest two-way communication both internally and externally. - Must be prepared to assume shift operations with little or some advance notice. - Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment. - Medical, dental & vision insurance Requirements/Requirements: - Competitive compensation - Call for details! - Direct activities of staff and vendors performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities. - Previous experience background in the motor carrier industry preferred, including knowledge of operations, clerical procedures, and DOT regulations.
