Data Privacy and Security/Licensing Attorney with 1+ year of experience - (Baltimore, MD)

Baltimore office of our client seeks data privacy and security/licensing attorney with 1+ year of background working on data security and technology licensing matters. The applicant will be counseling clients with respect to privacy and data security compliance, drafting privacy and data security policies, responding to security breach incidents, drafting and negotiating software and other technology-based licenses, and engaging in related transactional due diligence. Must have understanding of a broad spectrum of privacy and security laws and standards, and have (or be seeking) CIPP certification. "Litigation has been and remains the firm's stronghold, but the firm's transactional practice is on the upswing as well. In fact, as the workload shifts throughout the offices, associates are often asked to pitch in on a project outside their area of ability. The air of collaboration works to the advantage of the firm's clientele.
