Construction Project Accountant - (Pittsburgh, PA)

Summary\/Objective Construction Project Accountants are to act as the administrator for the PM team. They are crucial in processing contracts, payments for subcontractors, material purchases, invoice processing, and all associated paperwork. PA's are the lead on maintenance of project files for the superintendents and project managers. Working with the PE's and PM's is crucial for this role, as they need to assure that the project continues to run smoothly between all aspects below.Required functions Be prepared for Project transfer meeting Create and send welcome letter and contact list to client Dropbox setup and maintenance (includes items below) Setup new job folders and new personnel folders Assure up to date drawings are in dropbox Upload contract exhibits, adds to contract, contracts scopes, updated contact list and purchase orders to dropbox After receiving purchase orders from PE?s ? set up accounts, pay for, and schedule deliveries for equipment rentals, portable toilets, etc.
