Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic - (Waukegan, IL)

Job summary Job Opening at a very busy NAPA Auto Care Center to become part of a productive and dedicated team of automotive repair professionals. This position mandates knowledge and application of general automotive repair, service and maintenance on foreign and domestic passenger vehicles, light to medium duty trucks and buses. Repairs consist of, but are not limited to the following: brakes, tune-ups, oil changes, electrical systems, engine performance and diagnostics, heating & cooling systems, emission failures, steering & suspensions, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, exhaust systems, starting & charging systems, transmissions and tires. This position pays HOURLY, NOT FLAT RATE OR BOOK RATE. Company Description Very busy, year round, NAPA Auto Care Center since 2003 at Zion, IL location. 5 Bays, full service repair facility. Owner has over 55yrs of background in automotive repair career field; 26 of those years serving in the United States Air Force in transportation.
