Tuition Accounts Coordinator - (Columbia, SC)
Job Description Job overview: The Tuition Accounts Service Coordinator will be responsible for charging the student correctly. This person will communicate deadlines to other departments in preparation for billing. The Coordinator reviews wording for bills each term, the run sample group of bills to check for accuracy, run all the bills and mail. The job necessitates the expertise to connect with students and parents to explain their statements and address their concerns. Responsible for posting loans and other financial aid to the student accounts and. sometimes returning funds following Title IV funding guidelines. Multi-tasking is to be expected as well as some evening and weekend hours. Min Requirements: Min. Associate Degree in Accounting (preferably Bachelor Degree in Accounting) two years Background in a similar position with emphasis on customer service. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally. Current expertise of Ms excel and Ms word.
