Training Coordinator (Animal Care Research Facility) - (Pine Bluff, AR)

POSITION DESCRIPTION The Training Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of training programs. Must maintain, update and create training materials. Works with supervisors and managers to ensure the animal care staff receives required/needed training. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: • Responsible for the development and implementation of training programs. • Prepare training schedules for animal care personnel. • Record and compile training data for animal care personnel. • Identifies training and development needs of animal care staff. • Works with the Behaviorist and Clinical Veterinarian to develop, train, and implement a positive reinforcement training program for the NHP. . NON-KEY FUNCTIONS: • Perform other related duties as assigned.
