Healthcare: Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist - Dearborn, Michigan - (Dearborn, MI)

Busy, quick paced animal hospital seeking motivated, fast learning individual with a positive attitude to help assist doctors and staff. Background in the veterinary field is necessary. We will only consider candidates with animal handling background. Full-time or part-time position available. Duties include: -Directly assisting doctors with patients in exam rooms. -Answering multi-line telephones. -Handling patients safely according to protocol. -Reception/front desk duties such as scheduling and confirming appointments. -Daily cleaning/maintenance of the clinic. -Weekend kennel duties.(caring for boarding and/or hospitalized patients.) Skills/Attributes required: -MUST have the expertise to multi-task. -Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. -Must be available weekends -Must have reliable transportation. -Must have strong customer service skills.
