Customer Service & Inventory Specialist, Quality - (Huntsville, TX)
Job Purpose: The Customer Service & Inventory Specialist, Quality is responsible for customer order communications (internally and externally), order processing & shipping confirmations along with posting production into the Company's ERP (JDE) system. Essential responsibilities: Acknowledge Customer orders and keep the Customers informed as the order is processed and shipped. Potential delays must be adequately communicated internally to prevent late deliveries. Communicate new orders with Production, Purchasing, Sales and Logistics to insure accurate lead times and on-time delivery of products to Customers. Respond to Customer inquiries with a sense of urgency with accurate info. Provide accurate, valid, error free and full details verbally and into various computer systems and email. Post new production into JDE and maintain accurate inventory counts. Maintain Customer order status and internal production request logs.
