Position overview: Position title : Buyer /Purchasing Agent / Purchaser / Inventory Analyst /Inventory Coordinator Location : Fargo, ND 58102 Duration : 5+ Months (High possibility of extension) Assignments include: Background with Microsoft office, prefer 4-year degree. 1. Responsible to schedule & expedite materials for the production plan, ensure products are available for customer demand, and support company quality & productivity metrics using the Achieving Excellence (AE) guidelines. 2. Identify & procure alternate sources of supply when current materials are short or are not meeting customer commitments. Engage the appropriate levels of Strategic Sourcing to support the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) model when required. 3. Review supplier contracts & ensure that part parameters established in contract are appropriate for the production plan. Make recommendations or changes as required.
