Chief of Police - (Hollidaysburg, PA)

CHIEF OF POLICE Hollidaysburg Borough, located in Blair County, with an estimated population of 5,700 is seeking a Police Chief. Applicants must have at least ten years' experience in policing. The min educational requirement is advanced training in law enforcement operations, management and supervision, and public administration, including a bachelor's degree in related position. A bachelor's degree in political science or criminal justice is highly preferred. Certification from the FBI National Academy is highly preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training may also be considered. The successful applicant will possess a demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in managing a modern law enforcement agency as well as exceptional leadership and organizational skills with the expertise to develop personnel. The successful applicant should have a strong experience in administration and policy development, budgeting knowledge, and the expertise to utilize department resources.
