Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for managing the design team from initial specification interpretation to final concrete mix design. Vital to the company's bottom line through economic designs that must meet project qualifications.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the quality of concrete produced at the plants within the division. Oversees and designs various concrete mixes to ensure proper mix specifications are used on each order, with special attention to projects requiring unique or “one-off” specifications.Manages the review process on each job bid to ensure the selection of the proper mix design at the most efficient cost by apportioning the optimal material quality/quantity, assures mixes meet project specifications, technical correctness and customer’s qualifications.Oversees mix design submittals for projects and contacting Engineer’s and Architect’s when specifications do not meet ACI guidelines, obtains approval of mix designs form accrediting agencies, project engineers
