John Deere Instructor - (Garden City, KS)

Serve as lead instructor and coordinator for program, including budget coordination, liaison with John Deere Corporation, and other duties as assigned by Dean of Technical Education & Workforce Development. Perform all teaching duties assigned in the John Deere Tech program. Courses of study include the fields of hydraulics, mobile electrical systems, power trains, engine systems, service advisor, harvesting systems, mobile HVAC systems and Canbus systems (mobile controllers and guidance products). This position will also promote the program to regional sponsoring dealerships, visit internship sites and participate in recruiting activities for the program. Requirements also include maintaining and improving the quality of the John Deere Tech program at Garden City Community College. Requirements: Requires a min of an associate's degree in diesel technology or related position. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Appropriate industry background may substitute for degree requirement.
