Lecturer II, Microbiology and Immunolgy The University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology. Primary assignments include teaching undergraduate microbiology courses, student advisement, and student recruitment. Teaching responsibilities may include microbial physiology lectures and lab, introductory microbiology lectures and lab, microbial diversity and evolution, and other courses as assigned. This position will also be responsible for developing new courses to expand course offerings in applied and industrial microbiology. Minimum experience: PhD degree in microbial physiology or applied microbiology or related position Preferred Requirements: Background with or interest in active learning approaches and development of laboratory exercises. University level teaching background Compensation Grade: O(II)
