Ems Instructor/Coordinator - (Kinston, NC)
EMS INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR Bachelors degree in the teaching discipline, or associates degree from a regionally licensed institution and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline. Bachelors degree preferred. Previous teaching background at a high-school, community college, or university, background using instructional technologies, and teaching on-line courses preferred. Extensive 5 years or more background in the medical profession, which must include background as a Paramedic required. Certification as a provider in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Provider (PEPP) required. Must possess a North Carolina Level I Paramedic Instructor credential and be eligible for Level II instructor status within one year of employment, Level II instructor credentials preferred. Must maintain Instructor Certifications for CPR, ACLS, PALS, within 1 yr after hire date (by assignment).
