Packer Job - (Visalia, CA)

Position overview Employees responsible for the Packing operation will follow all established procedures and policies, and package product that meets or exceeds available standards while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency. Job requirements Package finished product into cases, trays, or other containers Cleans and sanitizes equipment when line is down Follow HAACP guidelines, SQF, and GMPs Ensure all product meets quality standards Follow company guidelines regarding occupational safety including wearing appropriate PPE and following LOTO. Work at a pace consistent with the flow of the line. Report any hazards or concerns plant supervision Communicate suggestions for improvement Participate in plant meetings or training Shifts are typically 7-8 hours shifts each with overtime possible. Weekend work may be required. Employees may be asked to work extended work hours for coverage purposes.
