Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - 3rd Shift - (Attica, IN)

Harrison Steel has an opening on 3rd shift in their 1st Aid department for an EMT. This position treats all medical, injury, or accident events that occur on company property. Duties include: Provides medical treatment to employees should they become sick or injured on the job Serves in the capacity of senior emergency medical technician, determine the nature and extent of illness or injury, or magnitude of to establish 1st aid procedures to be followed or need for additional services Keeps records of all employees who receive medical treatment both by 1st aid and outside medical facilities. Fills out appropriate accident reports for workman's compensation purposes Fills in at the main gate as security personnel monitoring traffic and alarms and answering calls Requirements and Skills Independently motivated and maintains confidentiality Current knowledge of Word and Ms excel Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail Certified with a CPR Level C
