Scrap Yard - (Attica, IN)

Harrison Steel has an opening on 1st shift for a scrap yard position to haul purchased scrap metal and internal steel from various areas of the plant to the melting department. The position will operate various equipment, including but not limited to large manual trucks, outside cranes, semi weight station, radiation detector, and is responsible for keeping different kinds of scrap metal separated. Requirements and Skills Basic math & reading skills Makes timely decisions Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Works safely and observes all safety procedures Valid state issued driver's license required Distinguish colors differentiating scrap including but not limited to red, green, purple, orange, and yellow Working environment:
