Harrison Steel has an opening on 1st shift with its automated molding line to assist in creating large sand molds that will be used to create steel castings. Working as a team, the area is responsible for the entire creation of a mold. The molding process involves several different steps, such as: Operating the sand mixer to fill the pattern box with sand Operating a hand drill to drill holes in the sand mold Painting molds with a refractory coating Assembling and positioning cores in the mold Joining both halves of the mold to complete the assembly process Requirements and Skills Enjoys hands-on work Basic math & reading skills Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Works safely and observes all safety procedures Working environment:
