Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Med/Surgical ICU and eICU - (Rochester, MN)

City Rochester State Minnesota Telecommute No Department Pulmonary / Critical Care / Sleep Position summary The Critical Care Independent Multidisciplinary Practice (IMP) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for a position in the Mayo Clinic Hospital -Rochester Methodist Campus Adult Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit, caring for medical, surgical, and transplant patients in the critical care setting. Selected applicants hired into this role will have the opportunity to partner with multidisciplinary intensivists to manage a wide variety of critically ill medical and surgical patients including patients across Mayo Clinic Health system via the eICU. NP/PAs in this area will perform admission history and physicals, daily notes, order and interpret tests, manage medication regimes, as well as ordering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. There is potential for performing select procedures based on need and background of the provider.
