Associate Accountant AR Job - (Trinity, NC)

Job details: We are currently seeking an exceptional applicant to be part of the Accounting team at Tempur Sealy. The Associate Accountant will primarily be focused on cash application duties. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area: * Develop and maintain accounts receivable reports through Accounts Receivable system, such as: Lawson, Manbase, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX, to help monitor customer balances and payment trends. * Record and process customer credit card and check payments, and send payment confirmations to customers. * Perform monthly reconciliations and prepare relevant journal entries. * Assist in implementing accounts receivable automation projects to promote better efficiencies and reduce manual transactions. * Identify accounts receivable issues and work with appropriate departments to resolve. * Aid in the testing of new programs, processes, and upgrades as necessary. * Perform backup functions for accounts receivable daily responsibilities and tasks.
