Job DescriptionFamily owned Grinding Machine Shop, looking for a machinist with the expertise to become a toolmaker. Individual should be creative and open minded and ready for new challenges.Should be able to:Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and measuring instruments.Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.Be ready to be trained to operate CNC Machining Center and various types of Machines Tools, including Mills, Lathes and Grinders.Duties include: Building and maintaining fixturesModifying or making spare machine parts Occasional set-ups
