Mechanical Design Engineer - (Davenport, IA)

Major established brand name company that has a very good work culture has an opportunity at 1 of their plant sites in eastern Iowa for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The opportunity with this growing company provides promotion potential. The selected applicant will design configurations and support current product line models. Will be involved with design and engineering of various vehicle systems using design, analysis, calculations, test and evaluation. This will include issue solving, root cause analysis and troubleshooting. Will provide support to the factory on engineering related issues and there will be field service, customer and supplier interface. Responsibilities include reliability, product cost, warranty and cost of operation impact of decisions.
