Job DescriptionThis Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of the application, embedded, and test software. This individual will develop software following our client’s procedures, IEC 62304, FDA guidance, and other applicable regulatory standards. This position is responsible for leading strategic planning, implementation, and management of software tools and procedural processes used to ensure world class software development. The Software/Firmware development, verification, and validation of medical devices for combination products Serve as the technical expert in software development and provide guidance and mentoring to other support personnel Manage a team of software engineers and developers ensuring high-quality software code while meeting company milestones Identify, implement, and manage software development tools and procedures Application, customization, systems integration and evaluation of new technologies Lead or participate in design reviews, code reviews
