Information Assurance Cyber Security Specialist (Government) - (Santa Maria, CA)

Details Assurance (IA)/Cyber Security Specialists are responsible for working closely with the Chief Engineer, systems engineering (SE), and each integrated product team (IPT) to ensure that IA is ---built in--- from the start. Ensure that design and implementation meets all security/IA qualifications. Maintain site Systems Security Plans Use the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to categorize new systems and identify needed security controls for each component of the updated CMSS network. Work with the accreditation authority to obtain Interim Authority to Test (IATT), and ensure successful Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of the updated CMSS network Authority To Operate (ATO). Determine program/product details assurance and security standards. Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Math, Electrical Engineering, Networking, Telecommunications, or related position. DoD 8570 certification IAM II/IAT II. System C&A or A&A. Background with DIACAP and/or NIST Risk Management Framework.
