Village of Rantoul POLICE OFFICER The Village of Rantoul Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will be accepting applications January 29, 2018 through March 2, 2018 to establish an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer. Min requirements include: 21 to 34 yrs of age*, High-school degree or GED equivalent, excellent physical condition, no felony convictions and eyesight corrected to 20/20 in each eye. Selected candidate will be required to live within a twenty mile radius of the corporate limits of Rantoul within 6 months after the completion of probationary period. *(A veteran shall be allowed to exceed the max age provision by the number of years served on active military duty, but by no more than 10 yrs of active military duty.) Candidates must successfully complete a written entrance examination, psychological testing, thorough experience check, oral interview, and a physical examination which includes a drug screening.
