Rehabilitation Technician - (Asheville, NC)

Rehab Tech---s function under the direction of the licensed therapist, performs basic care needs, mobility, and assists with therapy treatment session while providing administrative support. Promotes overall department function by demonstrating good customer service, protecting resources and participating in organizational development. Required responsibilities Supports patient care by performing activities under direction and supervision of a therapist. Promotes overall department function by providing administrative and clinical support. Supports the nursing staff when therapists are not on site. Rehab Techs are certified as a CNA I or CNA II and duties to include: performing range of motion exercises, transfers, assisting with ambulation using a cane/walker (no skilled therapy required), using mechanical lifts, and positioning of patients in bed/chair. Protects resources by maintaining and organizing departmental equipment and supplies
