Project Engineer- Chemicals (Tulsa OK) ep Salary: DOE Relo: Yes BASIC FUNCTION: This position is accountable for project engineering management on in-house projects, troubleshooting potential mechanical problems and recommending mechanical improvements to increase and maximize plant efficiency. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Engineer and prepare mechanical equipment specifications relative to plant modifications and repairs. Monitor and perform project management responsibilities on in-house engineering projects. Monitor and inspect mechanical equipment during outage opportunities and turnaround at this and other locations to insure mechanical efficiency and initiate necessary action as deemed necessary. Inspect fabricated equipment at the vendors location relative to pre-determined specifications and monitor said vendors progress to insure compliance with schedule. Coordinate personnel and functional activities of staff and contract drafting/designers.
