LEGAL SECRETARY Starting Pay $9.75- 11.00 / hr A highly respected Law Firm in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a Legal Secretary to start immediately. Pay level- $10.00 - 12.00/hr to start dependent upon background. This is a temp to hire opportunity and the company provides a raise after six months of employment and option to move to other positions dependent upon performance. Also offer great perks and monetary incentives on a regular basis. Essential Position assignments Types, formats and mails correspondences on behalf of attorneys, clients and the firm. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy. Research returned mail and attempt to locate alternate address. Answer opposing party phone calls and forward messages to attorney. Works independently and within a team to coordinate division of workload when necessary. Files all correspondence in office document management system. Ensures accuracy of filing.
