BI Database Consultant - (Rancho Cordova, CA)

Our client has a 6+ month contract opportunity for a BI Database Consultant in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role will be working in our client's database support unit. Perfect candidate will understand data warehouse and business intellgience technology in SQL Server Platform, as well as corresponding performance tuning, to support our client's BI reporting unit and web application development units. Must have knowledge and background in following areas: - Monitoring SQL Server Transaction replication health - SQL Security and Audit - SQL performance tuning and index usage monitoring in SQL 2016 Availability Group environment for large databases - Monitoring SQL Server availability Group health SQL SSAS tuning and performance monitoring, Power BI Server (on-premises) performance monitoring, SQL SSIS and/or PowerShell scripts to automate SQL Server monitoring tasks. Basic understanding of IIS configuration and troubleshooting is a plus. Tableau perofrmance monitoring is a plus too.
