3 openings available! Maintenance Mechanics needed for 1st, second, and 3rd shift opportunities in the South Sioux City, NE area. This position is a direct hire for a successful and innovative food company. MUST HAVE: * High-school diploma or GED required. * 1 or more years of background in industrial maintenance; * Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical issue solving; * Follows safe work practices and GMPs; * Welding skills are a plus, or desire to learn; REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES: * Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment on 1st or 3rd shift; * Preventive Maintenance on equipment; * Building maintenance including repair to any pumps, motors, gear boxes, bearings, etc.; * Assisting in new equipment and electrical installations; * Maintaining proper parts inventories; * Documenting all details describing the completion of the work order; * Working with other departments, such as Sanitation to complete necessary equipment changes;
