Plankhouse Line Cook - Part Time - (North Bend, OR)
BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position): Prepares food according to standardized recipes and approved methods either on the main kitchen hot line or in the main kitchen pantry. Also applies to Timbers Line. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly workplace atmosphere for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee. • Maintains par stock of food items in designated cooking areas. • Prepares approved specials. • Cooks items to order using grills, fryers, ovens, steam tables and any other specialized cooking equipment deemed necessary for food production. • Assists all servers in the delivery of quality product and service to the guest. • Cleans all areas of the kitchen, but is directly responsible for keeping the work area clean during and after the shift. • Will act as steward when necessary. • Other duties as assigned.
