Global Purchasing Manager - (Seymour, CT)

Report to General Manager; lead a team of 4-5 in purchasing and supply chain operations. OPPORTUNITY: This is an engineering and assembly operation so purchasing and supply chain has been increased in value to the company. Mentor and further develop procurement team as well as implement stronger vendor management processes to ensure OTD. Lead a small team (3-4) of buyers that manage 200+ vendors and contract manufacturers. Source $30M of engineered parts, motors, gear boxes, and wide variety of other items from sources in Far East, Europe and North America. Center stage role with all elements of front end supply chain.
