Production Manager - (Durand, MI)

Responsibilities: In accordance with the goals, policies and procedures of the company, the Plant Operations Manager is responsible and accountable for the following: * Leadership and direction to the operational teams on site. * Excellent planning and execution of the production schedule to achieve or exceed business unit objectives. * Lead best business practices through lean manufacturing thinking and company initiatives * Monitor production costs to ensure that targets are achieved on time within budget and within Quality standards. * Ensure that production is working to required standards in a zero defects culture, while continuously improving the process. * Setting objectives and measuring performance of the manufacturing team. * Ensuring the site is correctly resourced with the right level of skill and talent. * Developing and maintaining best practices and production efficiencies within the business unit while supporting the wider company Business Systems using lean techniques.
