About the Company:Large company with a welcoming and fun working environment seek an Accounting Director Position title: Director of Accounting Job Duties: - Leads and manages the monthly and year end closing including analysis and verification of assets, revenues, expenses and fund balances as well as manages thebudget - Ensures all accounts and funds are analyzed and reconcile appropriately and discrepancies are corrected - Monitors accounting and data to ensure efficient/effective operations that facilitates accurate and reliable reporting - Ensures Foundation financial activities comply with GAAP and organizationpolicies and procedures - Performs other duties as assigned - Supervises, reviews and prepares financial analysis and reports required for internal reporting as well as external auditing and reporting - Oversees the daily financial and fiscal reporting operations of the organization including cash management, accounts payable and payroll
