Position description The Classroom and Events Technology Support Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Education Tech Support Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: - Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. - Excellent communications skills and collaborative team approach to accomplishing goals. - Knowledge of current technology. - Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. - Provide technical assistance to computer users. - Knowledge of Microsoft software and Apple OS. - May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, ms word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
