SPRINKLER DESIGNER Possess layout knowledge Be the technical type, must understand sprinkler systems and its relationship with rest of structure Possess drafting background Degree not required. We are not seeking Design Engineers. We are seeking Designers. Construction market for commercial construction. Must have: Designing automatic fire sprinkler systems to contract specifications and NFPA and local codes. Hydraulically calculating systems. Confirming intent in Design Kick-Off meetings and sales layout and work with sales personnel. Coordinating with all trades in design phase. Site visits and communication with field and jurisdictional personnel. Assisting Fabrication Manager ordering all materials for systems. Attending progress meetings as needed or as directed by management. _QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:_ At least two years design background in the fire sprinkler industry.
