Trademark Paralegal The applicant will assist clients in obtaining, maintaining and protecting trademark, copyright and related intellectual property rights. Will have significant responsibility for management of client trademark portfolios, ranging from small domestic portfolios to complex international portfolios. Will communicate with clients directly regarding prosecution issues, and act as a liaison between attorneys and clients. Manage files relating to domestic and international trademark matters and manage docket to ensure all deadlines are met. Assignments include preparing and electronically filing US trademark applications, renewals, assignments and other prosecution documents; corresponding with foreign counsel regarding foreign trademark applications, registrations and recordals; and performing online research such as trademark clearance searches; and assisting with intellectual property due diligence. Must have formal paralegal training, preferably a 4-year degree program.
