Precipart has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to fabricate precision parts on a vertical milling machine on the night shift. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist, who can work with minimal supervision, to join a manufacturing company that is enjoying unprecedented growth and expansion on Long Island. This is a night shift position that requires working from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Responsibilities: Work from blueprints, drawings and verbal/written instruction Perform set ups and adjustments Load and unload parts in the machine Hold tight tolerances of +/- .0002 Select and place tooling and fixtures Establish proper feeds, speeds and cycle of machines Inspect parts by utilizing a wide variety of precision measuring instruments Meet quality standards and production schedules Qualifications: 5+ years of background making precision parts on a CNC vertical milling machine necessary experience inspecting parts and using inspection tools Background working to very close
