Veterinary Technician / Assistant - (China Grove, NC)

China Grove Animal Hospital is seeking a certified or experienced vet technician for full-time work M-F, 8-5, no weekends. We are a one doctor practice for small animals. You will be working with the Dr. in exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgery, as well as some prep and clean-up of the areas. Client education is important, so the technician should be able to explain the benefits of preventive care and wellness exams as well as surgical or illness protocols according to CGAH standards. We will provide training and guidance as needed. Background with x-rays, catheters, drawing blood, labwork, surgery, anesthesia dentistry and cleaning and maintaining the equipment is needed.
